The story behind Little Peace of Me
Hi, I’m Kim—the creator behind Little Peace of Me.
This journey started because I wanted better for myself and for the people I care about. I began paying closer attention to the products we use every day and realized just how many hidden chemicals we’re exposed to without even knowing it. That realization pushed me to start making changes—and that’s where everything began.
One of the first things I discovered was magnesium oil. I was amazed by how many benefits it offered, so I gave it a try—and I loved it. That’s when the idea clicked. I thought, what if I add a soft fragrance to this? Now I had something that supported my well-being and smelled amazing. It felt like a total win, and I knew I wanted to share it with others.
Little by little, things began to grow. I wanted to create more ways for people to take care of themselves and enjoy the little moments. That led me into room sprays and eventually candles. There’s just something special about lighting a candle that fills your space with warmth and calm. I use soy wax and cotton wicks to keep them as clean-burning as possible, and every scent is designed to feel soft, cozy, and inviting.
But creating has always been a part of who I am.
Long before this business, I was baking, cooking, and making things for the people around me. Friends and family have known me for years as the one always bringing desserts or trying something new in the kitchen. I’ve worked in restaurants, even running a kitchen for over a year, and at one point, I had the opportunity to make all the desserts for a friend’s restaurant. That experience allowed me to pour my creativity into something people could truly enjoy—and it’s something I’ve always carried with me.
I’ve also spent over twenty years creating with my hands through macramé and other crafts—making pieces for my home, my kids, and the people I love. Creating isn’t just something I do… it’s who I am.
So now, whether it’s magnesium spray, candles, baked goods, or handmade home décor—everything I create is a reflection of that journey.
It’s a little piece of me.
And truly, it’s a little peace of me, too.
Thank you for being here and supporting what I love.
